Our Mission
2BU Ranch is dedicated to empowering at-risk youth, helping them overcome challenges, and fostering personal growth through the unique bond between humans and horses. Our story is one of resilience, compassion, and the belief that every individual has the potential to thrive, given the right support and guidance.
What We Offer
At 2BU Ranch, we offer a safe and supportive environment where youth can build confidence, develop life skills, and experience the healing power of interacting with horses. Our approach combines basic horsemanship training with mentorship to create a transformative experience for our participants.
Youth attend 90 minute sessions once a week for up to six weeks. A chore is included every week to teach the values of hard work and responsibility of caring for animals.
Our location is a quite mountain ranch where the families can reconnect.

Getting Started
Contact the 2BU office at 509-994-1167 to set up an appointment during our open season. Scheduling is done on the 15th of each month for the following month. Our season opens April 1 (weather permitting).
Children between the ages of 8 and 18 from the Spokane and Kootenai County area, are invited to join us at the ranch and interact with the horses. We particularly reach out to at-risk children.
2BU Youth Ranch is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit. There is no set charge for the lessons. We do, however, have to feed the horses, pay the vet bill, buy tack, pay utilities, advertise, have the funds available for emergencies and need up-front costs for fundraisers. If you are financially able, please consider a contribution of $100 per youth for each six week session. This is tax deductible.
